Challenge

This smart home brand had already gained some recognition in the domestic market, with product lines covering smart bulbs, smart plugs, security cameras, and other categories. However, when entering the North American and European markets, it faced the challenge of almost zero brand awareness. Solution

We adopted a dual-driven strategy of "differentiated content + technical SEO." At the content level, instead of directly competing with giants for core high-volume keywords, we focused on long-tail scenario keywords and question-based keywords, such as "best smart bulb for rental apartment," "how to set up smart home without hub," etc. For each product line, we created detailed buying guides, product comparison articles, and usage tutorials. These contents not only served SEO purposes but also significantly increased users' dwell time on the site and their trust. We also established a smart home knowledge base to continuously produce high-quality content. At the technical level, we optimized the entire site for Core Web Vitals, achieving excellent performance with LCP < 1.5s. Additionally, we implemented comprehensive Schema markup for product pages, allowing product information to be displayed as rich text snippets in search results, greatly improving click-through rates.

Results

After 8 months of continuous optimization, the website's natural search traffic increased by 380%, with monthly average natural traffic exceeding 150,000 UV. Over 80 target keywords entered the top three pages of Google, with 25 of them on the first page. The overall website conversion rate increased by 120%, with the conversion rate from natural search channels being particularly outstanding, reaching 3.8% (industry average is about 1.5%).
